Cleanaire D2000 home air purifier is the new generation for an effective indoor air cleaning system combining technologies of an effective filtrate system and photocatalytic oxidation.

Three stages of filtration to remove all allergenic particulates, kill bacteria and viruses, destroy Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) from the air.

The Pre Filter removes particales from the air larger than 5.0u (microns).  It also helps to extend the life of the HEPA filter.

The Charcoal Filter absorbs toxic gas, organic hydrocarbons, exhaust fumes, formaldehyde, cleaning chemicals, low level ozone, unpleasant odors, and paint solvents.  This is a primary filter system to remove the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) from the air.

The High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter removes Allergens.  It is a hospital grade HEPA filter that removes allergens so small that they can only be seen with a microscope.  Pollen, mold, fungal spores, dust mites, cockroach dust, tobacco smoke, and bacteria are but a few examples.

Photo-Catalytic Oxidation (PCO) is the most advanced technology in air purification.  The purifiers draw air into the photocatalytic chamber to be purified.  The photocatalytic chamber consists of a high intensity UV-C ultraviolet bulb (254 nm) and a Titanium Dioxide catalyst.  When exposed to ultraviolet light, the photocatalyst becomes highly reactive and attacks the chemical bonds of the bio-aerosol pollutants, converting the toxic compounds into benign constituents, carbon dioxide, and water.
